The annual WTCA General Assembly (GA) is now the WTCA Global Business Forum (GBF) to align with the overall identity of our annual conference and to present a stronger opportunity for promotion to external audiences and your business networks.
Along with a new name, we're introducing several changes to strengthen and grow the WTCA's most visible event of the year while providing more Members the opportunity to become a Host, including:
A new digital Host application
Enhanced production support from the WTCA and HQs Events team
Assistance in identifying a Local Events Producer, B2B Producer, and Destination Management Company
The addition of a designated Co-Chair, selected amongst the local Regional Advisory Council (RAC) members
Instituting an annual "call for speakers/topic proposals" from among the WTCA Membership
The WTCA Plenary session will still occur at each GBF, though with an agenda that recognizes the activities our Members find most valuable when attending a GBF.
We thank our previous General Assembly Hosts for their dedication, hard work and hospitality to help our Association fulfill its mission in connecting businesses globally. And we look forward to the 2024 WTCA Global Business Forum, hosted by WTC Bengaluru.
