The  World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is co-hosting this event with  the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration

ATTENTION WTCA MEMBERS: The upcoming webinar on "Managing Global Supply Chain" will be held this Thursday, February 9 from 12:00 - 13:00 EST and  focus on global trade. It is available to WTCA Members and their staff,  and all U.S. companies looking to increase their ability to navigate  through constant disruptions while managing risk and maximizing rewards  in the global supply chain sector.

This  is the third webinar of the "Make Trade Work" series as part of the  WTCA's partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce's International  Trade Administration (ITA).

About the Webinar:

Join  for a comprehensive conversation on Global Supply Chain. The webinar  will cover the "new normal" caused by the pandemic and disruption to  international trade. Examples from the private sector will be provided  on how companies can create competitive, sustainable and resilient  operational structures for long-term supply chain operations.

This  webinar is open to WTCA members and their staff, and all U.S. companies  looking to increase their ability to navigate through constant  disruptions while managing risk and maximizing rewards in the global  supply chain sector. 

For those WTCA members who are new to exporting, to  the experience exporter looking to remain competitive, ensuring supply  chains meet customer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing  responsiveness.

Learn  how trade missions can save you money and resources by maximizing  contact with prospective distributors, sales representatives and/or  partners – with in-person meetings to make a good first impression with  foreign business connections.

This webinar will provide participants with:

  • Implementing and maintaining best practices in the global supply chain
  • Guidelines to a new supply chain roadmap to navigate current and new disruptions
  • How can your company prepare for future disruptions
  • Mitigate risk and respond to disruption

About the "Make Trade Work" Webinar Series:

Hosted  by the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration  and the World Trade Centers Association, the "Make Trade Work" webinar  series is a joint initiative to help educate and increase global trade  and investment opportunities. The "Managing Global Supply Chain" webinar  is the third of five webinars in the series hosted over the year.

This  series also marks the first of many initiatives under the WTCA's  partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service International Trade  Administration. Under this partnership, WTCA Members and the broader  WTCA network will gain access to numerous benefits, including best  practices in international trade and investment, and support for those  interested in non-U.S. entities to engage in foreign direct investment  and those who want to do business in the United States or with U.S.  businesses.
